Been doing a lot of stuff this last 8 weeks. S came home and there has been a lot of readjustment. I haven't done things so good some days but overall the hubby and I are doing much better than last fall. We were traumatized then and couldn't see straight. Now we have some perspective. S has been testing us to see if we are going to act the same way we did before. He is not happy that things are tougher than before! He has a LOT of accountability around him.
What has been neat though is that what we have been teaching him at home, they are reiterating to him in their various roles. That is such a GOD THING! There are glimmers of hope most days and some discouragement on others. I am learning and relearning ONE DAY, ONE STEP at a time. I want to rush and see the end result but Jesus doesn't work that way. It is one day, one hour, one minute of trusting Him, following Him and obeying His Word.
Things are getting better little by little. This is one of my favorite passages. How about you?
